Standard pattern, Peterson #32. 35” broad fullered blade with original leather blade seat. The ricasso with US 1863 A G M one side and C ROBY W CHELMSFORD MASS (poorly struck). Brass hilt with dark patina. Wire wrapped leather covered grip. Blade with gray patina and mostly superficial oxidation. Good solid Civil War issued example.
