German import. Standard pattern, Peterson #32 with three bar brass hilt showing mottled patina. Grip excellent. Blade crisp with original cross polish, the surface with spotty superficial staining, likely finger stains. Scabbard undented with some storage surface rust growth on original surface. This pattern is much rarer than the 1860 Cavalry saber.
