Cylindrical wood body hand hewn and drilled with fitted wood stopper. 2 3/8” length and similar to the more familiar salt horns (Collector’s Encyclopedia of the American Revolution, P. 155 #38). This example has no remnants of salt suggesting that it was used for powdered medicine. Excellent and charming.
