Made by the same hand with identical patina and condition. Natural horn 10" and 11 1/2" respectively. Identical raised ringed spouts. Domed butt caps with integrally carved suspension lugs. The caps varying somewhat in profile but identically chipped lugs and other details conclusively unite this pair. Riflemen owned several flasks, both for storing different grades of powder, and portability. One, two or more could be carried based on expected need. Only such pair we have offered.
