Probably Civil War to Indians Wars. Unmarked, but for small numbers on the top of each. True pair, 5” high, iron with lozenge shaped foot pads hand textured for grip. Originally galvanized (zinc coated) with remnants remaining. Civil War references show a broad array of stirrups including this type. Evidently existing civilian stock was used to meet the demand as was the case for many accoutrements. These could honestly be displayed as Civil War, Union or Confederate. Pair.
