Found by metal detector around 2000 at Ypres (Belgium) scene of some of the most intense fighting with English and French bringing the German advance to a stalemate. Made of aluminum salvaged from ordnance. Size 8 1/2 with rounded edge 4.0mm band, flaring to the top which is carved with a heart. Gray surface oxidation with a little encrustation from burial.
