C.400-100 BC. 1 1/8 length. Bronze with tear shaped base secured with a rivet and backing plate (intact) to the sword hanger strap. The bottom as a flared end hook which engaged the scabbard ring for easy attachment and removal. Good patina with glossy surface encrustation.
