Rectangular, 6 3/4
total height with hinged pyramidal top and rectangular body the front,
edges, and suspension mounts of bone panels incised in circular and
curvilinear patterns. The back of white metal stamped and engraved in
geometric and foliage patterns. Excellent with fine patina throughout
and no damage. The bone inlay matching that on Moroccan long guns but
exceedingly rare on cartridge boxes.
