Hemispherical, 1 1/2
diameter, with brass or copper wire securing the iron clapper. A silver
coin wedged and imbedded behind the clapper! Undoubtedly part of a
burial hoard, the tri-metalic contacts caused corrosion solidifying the
elements. Two short cracks to the edge probably the result of
excavation. Light green surface with light soil encrustation.
