Two piece, hinged, with sprung pin fastener. Of conical form with distinct medial swell and ridged at the quarter points. Rolled inner top edge. The cuff with a line bordered narrow depressed band deeply cusped at the ridges. The cuff bottom rolled, with a fine double roll comprising a central nub and raised roll with spiral in both directions away from it. Completely custom work from a very high quality armor, probably destroyed during WWII. The complex form and intricate details both require the skills of a most advanced artisan for a noble owner. Fine smooth mottled gray patina with some lamination and short cracks at the hinge.
