Iron, 21 3/4 length with opposing leaf shaped blades flanking slender central grip with original cloth and ribbon wrap (dry, soiled and slightly eroded). The blades chiseled with panels of confronting animals with foliage background. Crisp with gray patina. Only such example we have ever encountered.
