Iron hilt with tall minaret form pommel. Both sides decorated with panel of koranic calligraphy to the base and pommel. The grip with field of toothy lines and central panels of silver kuftgari. Scabbard decorated to match with silver stylized foliage panels top and bottom and two matching medial panels. The field matching the hilt. 7 1/2" d.e. blade with incised decoration, one side matching the scabbard motif exactly, and the other replacing the upper and lower foliage motifs with calligraphy. Excellent with silver about 100% intact. All steel quite smooth with crisp decoration.
