Thick convex sided spear point over thick heavy base lugs. Conical socket with large banded swells at the terminals. Integral short cheek straps. 8 overall on heavy wood haft. Head smooth with spotty light rust patches and evidence of forging including the lapped socket seam. Haft sound with dark mottled patina and some surface encrustation. The Thirty Years War was characterized by siege warfare. Equally suited for attacking an armored cuirassier or fortified castle door.
