European Harness Mounts. Fueled by religious fervor, the Crusades attracted warriors from every social level. The wealthy and privileged rode war horses whose leathers were adorned with these hand made bronze mounts. Popular from the dark ages through the Renaissance, these were recovered from crusades battle sites. Stylized heart surrounded by pellets. 5/8" width.
