Balkan region. 20 3/8 length of elegant proportions. 13 1/4 .60 cal barrel tapered through its length, the breech struck with triple makers marks.
Iron stock with original removable ram rod. Brass barrel band and long spurred butt cap. The stock top behind the breech sheathed in engraved brass with pewter and
enamel inlays. Miquelet lock lacks the cock, otherwise complete. Steel mostly bright with mottled gray staining and minimal pitting. A lovely example valued about
$1200-$1400 when complete.
