6 3/8 slender ridged back s.e. blade, probably watered steel, shows some black oxidation speckles as expected for the period but quite smooth and bright throughout. Tapered ivory grip with great age patina and remnants of green stain. Butt with a stone cabochon. Silver base ferrule with stippled band, shows light wear. Early armor piercing example showing Persian form reflecting the roots of the Mogul Dynasty.
