4th-5th century AD . Circular, just over ½” diameter with stipple border (halo or wreath?) and crisp Chi Rho cipher. The Chi-Rho symbol was used by the Roman Emperor Constantine I (r. 306–337 AD) as part of a military standard (vexillum).
