The High Gothic Period following the Crusades. Gilt bronze, just under 1 5/8” (1.54”) height with the suspension ring. The cross beam centered with trefoil beam terminals forming “crutches” from the Jerusalem cross which made it five crosses in one, comemoration the five wounds of Christ. Both sides flat with geometric and serpentine decoration. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored, on an 18” modern gilt sterling silver neck chain. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
